Rick Hoffman as Louis Litt the most vibrant character

A little bit of witty is his type,
A little bit of nutty is his kind,
little bit of funny all Suits long,
A little bit of Louis,

Makes you laugh all day long.

Louis Litt had been the most exuberant, witty, nutty, and funny character, played brilliantly by Richard Edward Hoffman (Rick Hoffman) in Suits. Apart from other actors, it was because of him too the show had performed exceptionally well. The show has ratings of 8.5/10 on IMDb, 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, and 8.6/10 on Rating Graph and kept running for nine seasons.

He was the heart and soul of the show because, without him, there would have been no Suits.

Louis had been the star of the show. He was, because of his ability to abruptly change expressions, and his comical appearance. The character was neither good nor bad but had shades of gray.

Irrespective of the judgment, the character Louis Litt was hilarious. Rick Hoffman was born for the role.

Let’s look at some of his qualities.

Sentimental Drama Queen

He often got exploited because of his sentimentality. There were times when viewers felt sorry for him. However, on many other occasions, his emotions seemed to be more of a melodrama.

Underrated Member

He considered himself to be the most hardworking but underrated member of the firm. He was neither getting promoted to Senior Partner nor getting an associate of his own.

Always Litts Up!

Louis never wanted his associates to fail but always helped, encouraged, and sometimes even threatened them. Of course, he was never serious about the threat.

Season Canceled

Even though the upcoming season of Suits was canceled, the mark Louis Litt left on his fans shall always remain lit. If you want to see Rick again, there is a piece of good news; he is playing Dr. Swerdlow in Billions. It is a recurring role, though.

We hope that someday the makers may want to rethink their decision and start filming again.
